The benefits of writing a guest post are not just that we get to publish some great content and you get to write about your favourite subject. It also makes sense in many other ways…

Ethiopiques.info to date has had over 40 000 visitors and continues to attract around 2000 new visitors a month (correct as of Jan 2010), all interested in world music, so by guest posting you can really gain some great exposure.

What we are Looking For

This blog covers Ethiopian Modern Classical music, so articles with original areas related to this subject (not been previously covered) are ideal. Please have a look through the site to get a feel for what already has been written about. However, if you have something in mind which has already been discussed, that doesn’t mean it will automatically be rejected, as it may contain some insight or information not yet provided.

In a sentence, make it relevant and new.

How to Submit a Guest Post

It is a lot easier for us to know whether or not a post is suitable if we can read it in full so please be prepared to submit a completed article, or at least a very detailed draft. Please don’t pitch ideas, as great as they may be, they mean nothing unless the fully written down.

Once we receive your article we will get back to you as soon as possible to let you know if we can use it as a post. If your article is accepted, it may not be published immediately, but we will definitely publish it soon and will inform you as to when. If it is rejected, you will be free to submit it elsewhere.

We promise not keep you hanging around and wondering.

Include a Bio

Please include a paragraph about yourself with your article and feel free to link back to your website using whatever anchor text you would like. If you have your own product you would like to promote, go ahead. Just no more than 2 outbound links in your bio please.
